Win big in The Sun Met 2020
With over R15 000 in prizes, including a bottle of House of BNG, you’ll want to put a Visionary fashion foot forward at The Sun Met 2020
The Sun Met 2020 Best-Dressed competition is open to all attending Africa’s Richest Race Day on Saturday, 1 February 2020. This year, The Sun Met celebrates Africans who are taking on the world under the theme, African Luxury: Visionaries, which calls on racegoers to transform Kenilworth Racecourse into a stage of creativity and style.
"We want to pay homage to the visionaries. To introduce a platform where creatives of all kinds can showcase their ideas. To write and share their stories through fashion, music, tech, and horse racing. Where imagination comes to life in all aspects,” explained Sun International CEO Anthony Leeming.
This year’s Best-Dressed judges are Aisha Baker, Melina Lambrakis, Seth Shezi, Sasha-Lee Laurel Olivier, Precious Thamaga, and Sifiso Mazibuko. They will be looking for a man and a woman who have captured the theme and wear their outfits with confidence. Hopefuls will also be judged on originality, creativity, and poise.
From 10am, when the gates open, spotters will be in crowd to pick out well-dressed racegoers to participate in the competition. If you are spotted, you should be in the entertainment marquee ahead of the start of the competition at 5.30pm.
The winners will each receive:
- R5 000 American Swiss vouchers
- R5 000 Canal Walk vouchers
- R5 000 Europa vouchers
- Bottles of bubbly courtesy of House of BNG, the official celebration partner
